I found this from Philstar.com RE: If you could speak to Sen. Noynoy Aquino, what advice would you give him in regard to public clamor for him to run for President in 2010? Not yet, Noynoy, not yet. Do not be carried away by the outpouring of sympathy and public display of mourning for the death of your mom. The presidential elections next year would not be the same as the one the nation had when your mom ran for president in 1986. There is no dictator to fight this time. If you can unite the opposition and field one, single candidate, and if that would be you, then go ahead and run for president. If not, then do not be fooled by the people who would like you to run for president for their own selfish agenda. - Juan Deveraturda, Subic, Zambales
I would advise him to convince the 3 religious leaders to support his candidacy for President along with moralist groups, political parties and other sectors who uphold to the ideals of his parents. Then, Noynoy Aquino should call a convention to choose among the three religious personalities would be his running mate or even vice versa. A written agreement or covenant with the people shall determine his sincerity for good governance and dedication to service the people. Lolong Rejano Marinduque
My advice is for him to think over and over again if he is ready to face the gargantuan challenge ahead. Public clamor for him to run for the highest position of the land is secondary and if he is determined to change the system of our country for good, I would say go ahead and fulfill your dream. You have the full support of the masses but failing them will make your political career go down . Your decision is so important and you have to act now while the public sentiment is in your favor.

Dear Noynoy,
Thank you for responding to the Hacienda Luisita issue.
Now, you said that your dad and mom taught you that it was country first, then family, then self. For that matter, I hope you put the interests of the farmers first before your shareholder relatives.
If indeed your family cannot handle the Hacienda, maybe it is time for the whole family to let it go: give it to the people who have worked on it for years... to the farmers. Your family has nothing to lose anymore except maybe 6,400 hectares but what's that compared to a lasting legacy of statesmanship and being a man for the people, right? Anyway, you can't bring the 6,400 hectares to heaven. You can't tell God, "I own thousands of hectares of land." He'd only say, "Okay, one: I own it. Not you. ME. I created it, so I own it. I just gave it to you for a time. And two: What legacy did you leave on earth?"
Ask that question, Noynoy: What legacy do you want to leave? Do you want to be considered a man who does not stand up for justice and righteousness, for the greater good, for the people, even if it means going against his family, even if it means losing your life? Or do you want to leave that lasting impression with so many that "Noynoy? Oh, he was such a compassionate person. He gave us our land back. He gave us our lives back. He helped us. I hope other Noynoys will rise up after him."
Your father left a mark when he fought against the dictatorship. He lost his life, but he gained his Life too... Your mother, imperfect as she may be as a president, left a legacy too: the fight for real democracy. It's time for you to think about what you want to leave behind.

I DON'T BELIEVE NOYNOY AQUINO SHOULD BE President, first of all majority ILOCANO provinces in Region 1,Region 2 and the Cordillera Administrative Region will never vote for Noynoy.
Until now Noynoy does not object to the Pork Barrel fund of Senators which is a very unconstitutional.
The Catholic Church is also against NOYNOY AQUINO stance on the birth control issue hopefully the Catholics will stop ENDORSING POLITICIANS their is a separation between church and state in our Philippine Constitution.

Wag nlng sila makialam..

Stay away from Erap Estrada and Jejomar Binay. Pag nakiusap ka kay erap para umatras siya, he will say later on that you won the election because of him and thus the start of patronage politcs. Corrupt daw yan.

Dear Noynoy,
You're commendable for taking a firm stand on the reproductive health bill. I hope this is the start of a series of social and economic reforms in our country. Mabuhay ka!
